Woohoo, a very witty member of C19, wrote these amusing hypothetical "text messages" between different characters from North & South. This was originally posted on a C19 thread, which threw up the challenge: "'North and South' (or other 19th Century novels) by txt." Woohoo used both the BBC adaptation and Gaskell book as the basis for her txt messages, and has given permission for them to be republished here.
